We were set up October 3rd & 4th at the Native American Festival at Hammonassett State Park in Madison, CT. This festival which takes place every other year is chock full of great educational experiences for young and old alike... live concert performances by Joseph Firecrow and other musicians, birds of prey, falconry and reptile programs; drumming and dancing; and individual artists also offering their work for sale.
It was a delightful place to be, particularly on the wonderful Fall New England sunny day on Sunday... listening to the drumming and watching dance exhibitions.... we were very fortunate to have been included and met lots of new folks who did not know of our stores. We hope to be invited back in 2011 when the Friends of Hammonasset will host this festival again.
