Welcome...

It's early Summertime here in New England what a beautiful time of year!

Lots of new goods are arriving daily from our buying trips thus far and we think you will be pleased. New Native Jewelry, new Boots, new Clothes, New Wall Art, New Rugs and Runners and Home Furnishings - yep we are filling up the stores with great new stuff - that's our job and you know we take it very seriously.

Summer Hours at Southern Exposure: We are open 7 days a week both stores year round! Mystic is open Monday to Sunday (every day) 10 am to 6 pm; and the Old Saybrook store is open Monday to Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. We begin our late hours in Mystic on Friday June 21st: Monday to Saturday 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm as always.

David Rosales' Navajo Inlay Jewelry Show and Sale is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday July 27th and 28th - same weekend as the Saybrook Arts Festival. David and the lovely collection of jewels will be in Saybrook on Saturday the 27th and in Mystic on Sunday the 28th. David's design and the Navajo Inlay work from his artists is second to none. Mark your calendars for this great Jewelry Show at Southern Exposure. And remember if you like one style of earrings, bracelet or pendant, but you want it in one of his other wonderful stone combinations, his Navajo artists are ready and willing to make it for you.

The Lovato family (three generations) are all doing work that is just "knock your socks off" and we were fortunate to catch them on our NM trip well stocked because it was right before the Red Earth Native Art show in Oklahoma. New jewels from Mary Lovato (grandmother who does mosaic inlay on shell - pendants and earrings), Tony Lovato and Isaac Coriz (sons - they do pendants and chains and rings) and grandchildren Joel, Cordell, Ramona and Serena (Tony's children) to be on the website soon. Feel free to email us for pix if you wish before we get them updated on the site.
